Kicking Dust In The Canyon Wind

Sometimes when the weather is a perpetual insult and the winter darkness shoots night for day, I reach for a bit of Nashville sunshine. The memory of  warm summer nights, the stillness that reverberates with silence and the odd buzzing mosquito, the soft clink of ice cubes in your tumbler and the comforting thought there’s still holiday left and all you have to do is to sit still and enjoy this moment, that’s what pulls me through these long winter months. Grace Potter and Kenny Chesney are nailing the truth in You and Tequila, as featured in Kenny’s superb Hemingway’s Whisky. Soft and gentle, Grace’s whisper to Kenny’s twang.  Addictions come in many forms, mine come in stone washed jeans and white cowboy hats. I hope its sunny and warm where ever you are.
